I have no connections with Niger Delta Avengers, MEND – Nnamdi Kanu,A faction of members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Friday debunked claims its leader Nnamdi Kanu was connected to the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, and it's decision to tip Kanu's release as part of negotiation conditions with the federal government. Kanu who intimated the public through his lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, at a press conference in Abuja lamented that he has no connection with any Niger Delta group. “In the past few days, the media was awash with news on negotiation going on between the Federal government and members of MEND, where our client’s name [Nnamdi Kanu] conspicuously featured. “It is on that note that we wish to inform the general public that Nnamdi Kanu has no connection, contact, ties or any kind of relationship with members of the MEND. As such MEND has no implied, direct or express authority of Nnamdi Kanu to represent him or IPOB in any purported negotiation going on between MEND and the Federal Government. “The general public is accordingly advised to ignore, discountenance and disregard the falsehood been peddled by MEND,” said Mr. Ejiofor. Mr. Kanu and two others, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, are facing trial for alleged treason which has kept the trio in detention since October 2015.
Exclusive details of Pro-Biafras' Nnamdi Kanu's appearance in court, The Department of State Services (DSS) on Monday requested a Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court in Abuja to discontinue trial of Nnamdi Kanu, Director of Radio Biafra, charged with criminal conspiracy. Kanu is standing trial on a three-count charge of criminal conspiracy, intimidation and belonging to unlawful society, to which he pleaded not guilty.

Biafran Zionist Movement Sends 500 Military Personel To Israel To Train . The Republic of Biafra under the leadership of the Biafra Zionist Movement will be sending 500 military trainees to Israel for training as Pilots and engineers. This action is in response to the Northern Nigeria governments led by the Kano State government which is sending 100 military trainees as pilots to Jordan to be trained as pilots by the Royal Jordanian Air Force. They are gearing up to war as 2015 is approaching and we the Biafrans are their number one target. The Northern Nigerian move is seen by the Biafran people as a threat to the Biafran people security. The North of Nigeria is sending the military trainees to Jordan despite the fact that the North has been ruling Nigeria since 1970 at the end of the civil war between Nigeria and Biafra in which more than 3 million Biafrans died during the civil war. Since the war ended on 15th January 1970, the killings of Biafrans by the Nigerian State has not abated, instead it has increased. And now the Boko Haram has emerged with its brand of Shite Islamic violence. Nigeria was forged together in 1914 and since then the majority Biafrans being Ibos have been constant targets of genocide and pogrom. It is time we the Biafran people be allowed to be independence as the people of South Sudan have been allowed to be independent. In order to make the world to understand the reason behind our action to Israel, we have informed the United States government of our intention to send the military trainees to Israel as purely defensive and not aggressive towards the Nigerian state or any one else. We also believe that Iran is responsible for the terror activities of the Boko Haram. Biafran history,Biafra, officially the Republic of Biafra, was a secessionist state in eastern Nigeria that existed from the 30th of May, 1967, to January 1970. It took its name from the Bight of Biafra, the Atlantic bay to its south. The inhabitants were mostly the Igbo people who led the secession due to economic, ethnic, cultural and religious tensions among the various peoples of Nigeria. Other ethnic groups that constituted the republic were the Efik, Ibibio, Annang, Ejagham, Eket, Ibeno and the Ijaw among others.

He was abducted by Nigeria government with the help of Britain on his way to Biafra land. Initially Nigeria government denied of his abduction until alarm was raised with enough evidence gathered that indeed Nigeria government abducted him. He was charged to court and competent court ordered he should be released but till now Nigeria government refused to obey court order and illegally detained our leader. According to the maps, the European travellers used the word Biafara to describe the entire region east of River Niger going down to the Mount Cameroon region, thus including Cameroon and a large area around Gabon.The Bight of Biafra lies in the present South-South Region of Nigeria and was renamed to Bight of Bonny by the Nigerian Government. The word Biafara also appears on maps from the 18th century in the area around Gambia.

Biafra protest turns bloody; mosque burnt, scores feared dead, The ongoing protest by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against the continued incarceration of the Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kalu, took a bloody turn in Anambra state in the early hours of today, Dec. 2, as nine people were reported killed. According to Vanguard, the Joint Military Taskforce comprising, Army, Navy, Police and Civil Defense and the protesters, who vowed to block the Niger Bridge until Kanu is released, clashed in Onitsha around 1.30am. Five of the deceased were killed at the Niger Bridge Head, three at Obodoukwu Road and a Suya meat seller, who was hit by stray bullet and died instantly, report said. It was gathered that other protesters who got wind of their comrades' death were said to have unleashed another mayhem, as they torched the Central mosque main market in Onitsha. They also set ablaze a Hilux Pick Up van with federal Government number plate when the Joint Military Taskforce started shooting sporadically. The IPOB members had blocked the Niger Bridge early Tuesday morning by grounding vehicular movement in and outside Onitsha. Report said the protest was peaceful since it began yesterday until the Joint Military Task Force opened fire on the thousands of protesters who refused to leave the Niger Bridge, the entry to South East, killing nine.
